Midnight Tease

Midnight Tease - Giphy

You know what they say: you can sleep when you’re dead. LOL. If you’re up at this midnight hour like me then you agree.

This is the Midnight Tease where I share what I’ll be reading and reviewing this month. Maybe you’ll see a couple of books that pique your interest, or that you’ve read already and want to get your chattiness on about it.

I can’t believe we’re in June already. Halfway through 2019. Wow. Summer is my favorite season. All the warmth and sunshine and green. I can’t get enough. I also get to see one of my best friends who visits once a year and I’m so excited.

I know there are also some recent releases I’m excited about like Broken Throne by Victoria Aveyard and Finale by Stephanie Garber. Both of these authors are phenomenal. I’ve really loved their books and can’t wait to read these!

Anyway, before I get too carried away, here’s what going on here on The Scarlet Reader this month!

Welcome to TV Land – A Book List

Hello, my beautiful readers!

I hope you’ve had a great May so far. Mine’s been alright. Can’t complain too much. Life is certainly being life. However, I do wish June will be better lol. Anyway! Book list of the month!

This month I’ve been thinking about what kind of books could I recommend, but I’ve also been in a weird spot. Some of my favorite shows have had their finales, some are series’ finales. And BOOM! A list is born!

I don’t know about you guys but I really enjoy reading the tie-in/spin-off novels written based off of TV shows. They can be so much fun and really feed my love for my favorite TV shows.

Here’s a list of some of the shows that you can find novels to match. Maybe you know them and maybe you don’t. And if you don’t then here’s a chance to find a new TV series to binge the hell out of and be utterly obsessed with.

Hiya Book-ish humans!

It’s the midnight hour, sweets, and if you’re up then you’re a night owl like me. This is the Midnight Tease. Here, I share what I’ll be reading, am currently reading, and what will be up for review. Exciting, I know. LOL.

This month is going to be a big reading month, I hope. March certainly was. I can’t say there’s been much exciting going on. Oh, wait. I did get a chance to go see the movie: Us. It was freaky, intense, and deeply disturbing. Excellent film. Kudo’s Mr. Peele. It’s a brand new side of horror you’ve got there. I call it Mindfuck Horror. I really did enjoy it.

And that’s about the extent of my exciting life. LOL.

I will say this last bit before we move on to books. E. L. James has a new book coming out soon. The Mister. And you’re damn straight that I’m pretty excited about it. I’m very curious to read it and to see James out from behind Fifty Shades. It sounded pretty daring actually. The release date is set for Apr. 16th this year.
